Our Company Mission

At Sundari Consignment Boutique, we resell with a purpose. Sundari means “beautiful woman” in Sanskrit, and our mission is to keep our planet beautiful by keeping quality clothing in circulation and out of the landfill while giving back to our community.

We seek to decrease waste by reselling good-quality, long-lasting, and natural fiber clothing to keep our closets fashionable, intentional, and eco-conscious. Fast fashion is a large contributor to pollution, and shopping second-hand increases our self-sustainability and reduces the footprint we leave behind for our children.

Our consignment boutique proudly gives back 5% of profits to local organizations that work to end child abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking. We are one!

How does it work?

  • Step 1. Choose what you want to sell.

    We want your quality and vintage clothing, shoes, and accessories that last through siblings and generations. We’ll find them a new home!

  • Step 2. Schedule an Appointment

    Book a time to have your items inspected and agree to our terms and conditions. We are a small operation and can only accept items that are clean, smoke-free, and in good condition.

  • Step 3. Sell Your Items and Get Paid

    We’ll do the work of marketing and selling your items in our boutique while you do more important things with your time and energy. When your item sells you can get paid in cash, check, direct deposit, or store credit. Easy peasy!

We are looking for high-quality, vintage, and natural fiber women’s and children’s clothing items to up-cycle within our community. To ensure quality, promote reuse, and decrease waste, we offer consignment appointments to streamline our inventory process. We are a small operation with limited storage space, so some pickiness about what we can take is required. We appreciate your understanding. What services do you offer?

We offer clothing consignment services to the Northwoods community. We have a brick and mortar store in Eagle River, WI and travel to local pop-up events. In certain circumstances we can travel to your home to pick up items. We are happy to assist the elderly and disabled by providing some in-home services. Please contact us for more information.


What is your commission?

We split all sales 50/50. When you consign with us, you also support our mission to end the toxic family system. We donate 5% of store profits to local charities that work with victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and human trafficking right here in the Northwoods. What happens if my clothes don’t sell?

We consign your items for a mutually agreed upon time frame, so that you can pick up your unsold inventory at a time that is convenient for you, usually for a season. Any items that are not claimed after your consignment period ends are considered forfeited and may be resold in the store or donated to local thrift shops and shelters.


Is there a limit to how much I can bring?

Yes! We are a small operation. 10 pieces is the max. Thanks for understanding!
